This SE Region website is very user friendly and have the potential to be the best in Sigma History. I would like to take this time to applaud Bro. Brothers,
With the election being less that 20 days away, and with early voting having already started in our states, it is very important for each brother and chapter to focus on voter education and verification. Please check your state's elections website to ensure your voting status is in tact. If you can, please take advantage of the early voting process.
Also, with the numerous emails surrounding what to wear at the polls, the only suggesion I have is for each brother to wear Sigma paraphanalia on election day...

I have to say, I've checked the other region's sites and this is by far the best in the fraternity! The brothers who put this together should be applauded. Brothers Jackson and Goodwin, you did your region proud, and I'm not even a member of the Southeastern Region.

On Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2008, we witnessed the culmination of a historic election season...a season where millions of individuals banded together and became engaged in a grassroots effort to elect the country's first African American President, Barack Obama.
The weeks leading up to the election, I couldn't help but wonder how I would react once the announcement of the winner was made on Election Night--would I cry, scream, breakdance, etc.?
To be honest, I did all three at 11pm when CNN made the historic projection. However, my excitement quickly turned to historic reflection when I saw the emotional reactions of individuals of all colors--especially Rev. Jesse Jackson, whose tears reminded us of the struggle it took for us to get to tis point in America. Clearly, his tears were those of the Martin and Coretta Kings, the Rosa Parks, the Emmitt Tills, the Medgar Evars, the Septima Clarks, and the millions who sacrificed for our right to achieve politically.
It is our duty, brothers, to not let this historic time go for naught. We must now put our best foot forward to promote a positive value system for our family and community. Phi Beta Sigma provides us with great opportunities to achieve this mission, and it is my duty to provide the resources to you in order that you perform efficiently. Please know that I am available at any time to serve you.
The days ahead are filled with many challenges, and many wonder if we will ever get out of this dire recession. Well, let us use the spirit of Barack's election to collectively make this world a better place for our future generations. "Yes We Can!"

Good Morning Brothers! I recently was elected by our chapter(Gama Beta Sigma-Greensboro) to chair our Bigger and Better Business Committee. I have searched several sites, but can't seem to find much information about what chapters are doing with the Bigger and Better Business Program.
